Create flight simulation model in 1 hour

Let me share with you how you can create a flight simulation model in just 1 hour using a drag and drop freeware.biplane This freeware allows you to create your own keyboard controlled flight simulation model. It is not as difficult as you might think. Here is how you can get started:

  • Download a free authoring tool Alice. The file size is 115MB, so it is better to download using a broadband connection instead of a 56K modem.

  • Next, unzip the Alice zip file which you have just downloaded and run the application file Alice (inside Alice subfolder). This will start up the Alice application.

  • Before you begin, download this template zip file which I have created to help you get started. Uncompress the zip file and save the Alice program file FltSimTemplate.a2w onto your desktop.

  • Then, download this pdf instruction file which will guide you step-by-step on how to create and enhance the flight model using Alice freeware.

    • Follow the instructions closely and you will find that creating a simple flight simulation model is now a possibility for anyone. Just a few drag and drop with your mouse (no hand-coding needed) and you can showcase what you have done to your family, friends and teachers in no time.
